Now is the time to understand the conditions and circumstances of the most dangerous war of the century, not to tear Lebanon and the region apart, especially since weak states are nothing more than quick meals for powerful nations''.
He asserted that "Lebanon is at the heart of this fateful war and in the center of its strategic arenas. Lebanon's resilience, despite the enormous national costs, is absolute proof of this country's ability to survive and secure its political and sovereign rights. This is what the current authority must understand, because the crux of the matter here is Lebanon in its historical form, its national creed, its constitutional partnership, and the very foundation of its ability to survive. Nothing is more dangerous to Lebanon than political tyranny, because Lebanon is a sectarian and political structure based on consensus, solidarity, and the historical legacy of the national creed. Lebanon cannot be left to the unknown, especially since Israel is waging a war of grand maps at the expense of Lebanon's sovereignty and the region. Trump's war in this conflict is the same as Netanyahu's, because it is a war waged by Washington and Tel Aviv, which insists on swallowing up the Middle East within the context of securing the hegemony of the global order. The current Lebanese authority is aware of this reality, yet it plays the role of a subservient gatekeeper to Washington at the expense of Lebanon's interests. This cannot be allowed to stand, and no arrangements or programs that serve it can be accepted''.
He continued: “For the record, I say: Lebanon’s strength amidst the war waged by Washington and Tel Aviv lies in its national unity, its strong resistance, and its army, which safeguards civil peace. Any political misstep that undermines this national triad places the entire country at the heart of the most dangerous existential threat and the worst breeding ground for civil war. It is extremely dangerous that the current authority is gambling with political and security tyranny and striking at the national creed in favor of capitulationist projects that serve Washington and Tel Aviv. This situation requires a strong national movement to prevent this authority from slaughtering Lebanon, because the alternative is civil war''.
He drew attention to the fact that “the region is ablaze and the territory is torn apart, and any civil war that erupts will quickly escalate into a fierce regional war.” Addressing the Lebanese people, he said: “O Lebanese people, Lebanon’s situation requires a national state of emergency because the current authority is crossing the most dangerous red lines. An authority that negotiates with terrorist Israel is weak, incapable, and unable to confront external threats without national unity and sovereign defense. Despite this, it insists on Americanizing the country’s affairs and placing Lebanon at the heart of a Zionist security colony at the expense of civil peace and Lebanon’s very existence''.
He continued: “The Lebanese people are called upon to take a swift and historic stance because the current authority is gambling with national partnership and Lebanon’s security and political sovereignty. The reality of what is happening between the current authority, Tel Aviv, and Washington confirms that there is no Lebanese party involved in these negotiations, because the current authority is merely a subservient agent of the American project, which is working to Zionize Lebanon through security arrangements that undermine the pillars of Lebanese civil peace. Any misstep in employing the Lebanese army in this arena will cripple the most important national institution guaranteeing internal stability. The current authority is adopting hostile positions towards the people of the South, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the Bekaa Valley, and is working with all its might to eliminate Lebanon’s national strength. The source of the national catastrophe is terrorist Israel, not the resistance, and the existential threat to Lebanon comes from Washington, not the people of the South and the Bekaa''.
He added: “Any thought of disarming the resistance places us at the heart of a Zionist project that must be utterly destroyed. Beware of any intentions to dismantle the resistance’s structure, because that will dismantle Lebanon and ignite an unprecedented civil war. The current authority is required to guarantee Lebanese security, not the security of terrorist Israel. Whoever prevents the Lebanese army from defending the nation is implementing the greatest projects of Washington and Tel Aviv.” Aviv, and the game of experimental zones is a Zionist project, and Baabda knows it. The solution lies in a ceasefire and a timetable for the Zionist withdrawal, not in Zionist security arrangements that plunge the country into the heart of a terrible civil war. In this regard, America is usurping Lebanese authority and leading the most dangerous project that threatens Lebanon's historical existence.
He added: The principles of political professionalism dictate that the government should be with the people of the South, not against them. The statement adopted by America, Israel, and the subservient Lebanese authority is dangerous and destructive, threatening the very foundation of Lebanon's security and sovereignty, and it will not stand. The issue of "no hostile intentions" alongside a project of security arrangements and pursuits amidst a Zionist air invasion targeting the heart of the South exposes the complicity of the current authority, which is working with all its might for the benefit of Washington and Tel Aviv.
Mufti Qabalan addressed the Lebanese authorities, saying: "The people of the South are sacrificing money, lives, and all their resources, except for their national sovereignty. They will not allow the shameful Lebanese authority to assassinate their national project with its major security betrayal. Baabda Palace has lost its national compass, and the recent statement is an act of national betrayal and a clear agreement between the American tutelage authority, Israel, and America to liberate the South from its own people. We will not remain silent about this betrayal. The 'last chance agreement,' as some have called it, is an agreement to Zionize Lebanon, and we will not allow this authority to slaughter Lebanon. President Nabih Berri (the symbol of the February 6th uprising) is still alive in our hearts, and the national capabilities in this regard are greater than any Zionist-American project that seeks to swallow Lebanon''.
Furthermore He addressed the Lebanese President, saying: “Those who must be removed are the Zionist army and the agreement of shame and betrayal, not the people of the South. Whoever approved this statement betrayed Lebanon and must be tried. The Lebanese people are concerned with a position that will determine the fate of Lebanon and its national partnership. The political forces are concerned with taking their historical role to protect the country from the gamble of the current authority, which has committed to the project of annexing Lebanon to the Zionist colonies. There is no greater national interest than saving Lebanon from this authority obsessed with treason and shame. Lebanon will only be Lebanon. The agreement that the current authority signed is nothing more than an American-Zionist agreement to erase Lebanon from existence. We will not allow this treacherous authority to Zionize Lebanon. The land will be the judge between us. Lebanon is not a sardine can or barren land for the current authority, which excels at the game of political and security massacres that threaten the very existence of Lebanon''.
